USAPA Referee Training

USAPA Certified Referee Inga Carr will be coming to Myrtle Beach.  

We are offering a referee training session for all our members.

For our upcoming Seaside Classic Pickleball Tournament in September, we will need a number of referees. All medal matches will need refs.  We gave this training last year, prior to the tournament.  

We are discussing the possibility of having a person from USAPA come and give this training.  At this time, we do not have a specific date/time, but wanted to get an idea of how many folks would be interested in this training.

Benefits of taking this training:

• You will learn more of the rules of the game, which will help your game.  
• You do not have to know all the rules, but it will help with the basics.  Each tournament will have head refs for specific rules. 
• If you go to other tournaments, you may be asked to ref.  In the future, all USAPA sanctioned tournaments will need refs for all games. 
• You will be helping the club and tournament directors by volunteering to ref.  The more refs we have, the easier it is for all of us.
